Born in Argentina, Mabel moved to the United States in 1983 and became established in Los Angeles where she became a successful accountant and Enrolled Agent.

 

In 1997 Mabel started her own company, Your Business, Inc., a step that not only enhanced her own success but also increased her ability to work more directly with others. Your Business, Inc. prospered by helping established businesses expand and grow as well as assisting fledging entrepreneurs plan and execute financial tax programs and systems.

 

Mabel Katz is author of “The Easiest Way” where shegave us the art of Ho’oponopono, written in a way that was so simple to understand.  The ancient philosophy of Ho’oponopono comes from the Hawaiian culture, and its premise is that life should be easy.  We are the ones making life difficult and we can learn to stop getting in our own way.  Mabel uses analogies and parables to teach techniques that give us a clearer understanding of this ancient art form.

Mabel is internationally acclaimed as one of the foremost authorities on the art of Ho’oponopono.  With her unmistakable simplistic style and grace, Mabel has been able to transcend many languages.  Her book “The Easiest Way” has been translated and published in English, Spanish, Korean, Portuguese, Swedish, German, French, Russian, Chinese, Hebrew, Romanian, Italian, Czech, Croatian and Polish.

 

Mabel is a star in LA's Latino community. She hosted her popular radio and television programs, Despertar (Awakening), where she empowered Latino’s by giving them the tools to start or grow a business, have fulfilled relationships and find financial success.  Her last television endeavor “The Mabel Katz Show” was a very unique and one of a kind Spanish show. The show was a combination of Oprah, Suze Orman, The Apprentice, and Rachael Ray all in one.

Ten years after starting her own business, Mabel decided to give up her successful accounting firm and talk show aspirations to follow her passion. She is now on a journey that is taking her around the world as a speaker, inspiring many different cultures and languages. By popular demand, Mabel has also embarked on four new books, all of which will take her audience up a notch through the art of Ho’oponopono.

 

As a result of her personal accomplishments and her generosity of spirit, Mabel has received acclaim on the local, national and now international levels. Some of her national recognition includes; Business Woman of the Year For 2005 by the LA Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce. In 2006 she received the Sol Azteca Award and the prestigious Latin Business Association's Members Choice Award. Also in 2006 she was one of only nine women nationwide to receive the coveted Anna Maria Arias Memorial Business Fund Award.
